The Back-Up Plan Synopsis

Zoe, played by Jennifer Lopez, is an unmarried lady who is getting up their in age and has absolutely no prospects in terms of a male relationship.  Zoe really wants to be a mother and instead of waiting for Mr. Right Zoe takes matters into her own hands and proceeds with artificial insemination.  On that very same day Zoe meets the man of her dreams and all of her plans unravel before her.

Zoe tries to juggle building her new relationship with Stan, played by Alex O’Loughlin, while hiding the fact that she is pregnant.  Of course this can’t last forever and he eventually finds out which sends the two into an intense of trying to find love while a baby is on the way.
